Ogilvy invents talking ad posters
Closed Published by Rudy De Waele September 22nd, 2005 in UncategorizedFor its client Ford, Ogilvy Belgium just invented the “talking poster ad”, created specially for the advertising posters at busstops. The man on the poster (controlled on distance) starts making talks with the passengers passing by.

The system is connected to a webcam through a Telenet Wi-Fi hotspot.
You can see live reactions here (website in Dutch and French only), the campaign is running from September 20 till 26th.
Brilliant idea and shows how Wi-Fi is going to change the potential of instant outdoor advertising soon…
