I mentioned earlier today how boring social networks have become mainly due because they are closed systems. Besides having to login with username and password, you mainly can just connect to others (which was great 1 year ago) but now with the web 2.0 getting more into shape Linkedin, OpenBC, Orkut, etc. need to open up to let people do more then just connect.
