Digital Music News reports Napster announced a deal involving Instant Live, a service from Clear Channel Entertainment:
“Instant Live records sells CDs of live performances at the venue itself, giving fans an unforgettable souvenir on-the-spot. Now, Napster will gain exclusive access to a host of Instant Live recordings, and will offer them as streams or downloads. That will give Napster a nice content edge, and will also help to widen Instant Live’s distribution platform.”… “Napster will also gain promotional placement at Instant Live venues, signaling to concertgoers that the performance recordings can also be obtained online.”
How long still to beam your favourite concert instantly to your phone memory?
