The Queen of Mobility

Yesterday I went for a drink with Anina, geek model Nº1 who was in Barcelona for the Nokia Mobility Conference 2005 and some modelling work.

And guess what 2 geeks like us do when they meet IRL? Well… we did an old-fashioned interview (yes with pencil and paper), we discussed loads of hot topics -such as global roaming, convergence, hybrid phones, web 2.0, etc. We exchanged ideas and shared some stuff between our mobiles (btw: perfect bluetooth symbiosis between Anina’a Nokia 6630 and my SE V800) - see this funny little 3gp muvee Anina made of us.

Next week I’ll publish my interview with Anina here on m-trends.org, meanwhile you may want to check her interview with technology columnist Robert X. Cringely on NerdTV. NerdTV is essentially Charlie Rose for geeks - a one-hour interview show with a single guest from the world of technology. Guests like Sun Microsystems co-founder Bill Joy or Apple computer inventor Steve Wozniak are household names if your household is nerdy enough, but as historical figures and geniuses in their own right, they have plenty to say to ALL of us.

Anina appears to be the first female geek on NerdTV. Check also 360º FASHION, her personal convergence between fashion and technology, also available directly on your mobile at micro.anina.net.

No doubt about, she really has her stuff together!

@ Rudy - Looks like you had fun. Her personality does tend to rub off on people.
