Nokia World is coming to Barcelona so we anticipated to invite some friends from Finland and abroad to join us for our next MobileMonday Barcelona on Mobile Social Media on December 1. The event will be held at the Forum of ESADE Business School (same venue as the Mobile 2.0 Europe event).

Mobile Blogger Relations
Besides the speakers and startup presentations, and with a big thank you to Nokia, we’ll have a panel with some of the top bloggers on mobile technology from across the globe to talk about what it means to be included in outreach from a major player in the mobile world. Some of my mobile blogger friends will be joining including mobile diva Darla Mack, Ewan MacLeod from the Mobile Industry Review, Jonathan Greene, and some others to be confirmed… So, anyone coming to Barcelona for Nokia World, don’t miss this chance to attend this unique event.

The Speakers:

Mobile Social Media has known a tremendous growth in 2008. Über social media platform Facebook recently announced that their mobile site m.facebook.com, jumped from 5 million to 15 million this year. The most recent change made to the site, allowing comments to be posted on status messages from your phone, resulted in more than 1 million mobile posts in the first 24 hours.

For this unique event we invited three local Mobile Social Media startups and the following speakers:

Matt Mizenko, Head of Ovi.com, Product Management with Nokia.
Previously Matt was Senior Product Manager for the Ovi Technology Platform.  Prior to joining Nokia, Matt served as Chief Wireless Architect with Fry, Inc. in New York where he headed mobile, thin-client and embedded systems development for clients including NYMEX, Godiva and The Spiegel Group.  In his free time, Matt is an active photographer, cyclist and wine enthusiast.
