One of my favourite European conference is Plugg, run by friend and compatriot, Robin Wauters. Robin writes for TechCrunch and is also a passionate internet entrepreneur, blogger and allround web enthusiast.
Plugg is a one-day conference on Thursday, March 11 in Brussels, with a clear focus on celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation in Europe and raising global awareness for those European start-ups in the Web / Mobile 2.0 field that stand out in the crop. Check out the full list of confirmed speakers and schedule for the day. You can register here.
One of the most exciting things at the conference is the Start-Ups Rally. Below, behold the names of the 20 innovative startups who’ve submitted their profile on dotopen.com for this year’s competition and were selected out of a total of 116 submitted profiles for the competition by a balanced jury of renowned industry professionals.
If you want to see these startups present their wares at Plugg, register now while you can still catch tickets! mTrends readers can get a 25% discount; go to the registration page and use the plugg-25percent promotion code.
On top of that, I have 2 FREE tickets to offer to my readers. To catch one of those, all you need to do is check the Plugg startup finalists’ dotopen profiles below and tweet (via the share button) your favourite profile adding a #dotopen hashtag. I’ll pick 2 winners by next Monday.
Hope to see you in Brussels next week!
